Feroz Shah Kotla Stadium DelhiFeroz Shah Kotla Stadium of Delhi is situated on Feroz Shah Kotla ground on Bahadur Shah Zafar Marg. Built in the year 1883, it hosted its first test match in the year 1948, when India played against West Indies. Thereafter, the first One Day International (ODI) was held here in the year 1982, in which India played against Sri Lanka. Delhi Feroze Shah Kotla Stadium got its name from the Emperor Feroz Shah Tughlaq, who ruled over the city from 1351 to 1388.

The stadium has witnessed some of the most memorable and record-breaking feats in the history of Indian cricket. For ex, Hemu Adhikari and Ghulam Ahmed, of Indian team, created a record for tenth wicket partnership for 109 runs here, against Pakistan. Ferozshah Kotla Stadium of New Delhi was also the venue of the game against Pakistan, in which Anil Kumble of India took the entire 10 wickets, single handedly. This stadium has witnessed many more feats till date.
