Bhakra Nangal Dam has emerged as a very popular tourist place in Himachal Pradesh. It was aptly titled as the 'New Temple of Resurgent India' by Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, the first Prime Minister of India. This dam is the highest straight gravity dam in the world.

Suketi Fossil Park
Suketi Fossil Park was the first park in Asia that to be situated on the site where the actual fossils were unearthed. Situated at a distance of 21 km from Nahan, this park is sited on the bank of Markanda River. It lies on the upper and middle Shiwaliks and has soft sandstone and clay rocks.

Deoli Fish Farm
Deoli Fish Farm, which comes under the Bilaspur district of Himachal Pradesh, came into existence in the year 1962. It is spread over an area of 4.4 hectares and has 14 nursery ponds and 2 big brood stock tanks. The hatchery was originally used only to stock seeds for Gobind Sagar reservoir.
