Traveling to Kasauli

By Air
The nearest airport from Kasauli is that of Chandigarh (60 km), which is well connected with all the key cities of India. After reaching there, travelers have the choice of boarding buses or taxis for traveling to Kasauli, which are available at regular frequency. Another choice with travelers is Shimla airport, which is 77 kilometers from Kasauli and has taxis and buses for going to Kasauli.

By Rail
Kalka is the nearest railhead from Kasauli, situated at the distance of 34 kilometers. It is well connected with the key cities of India, such as Delhi and Chandigarh, by excellent network of trains. Once at Kalka, travelers can easily get buses and taxis for Kasauli. Solan, another railhead near to Kasauli, is connected with Kalka through a narrow gauge railway line

By Road
Kasauli is well connected by road with the main cities in and around Himachal Pradesh, like Shimla (68 km), Solan, Delhi (303 km) and Chandigarh (60 km). From Delhi, one has to take NH1 to Ambala, from there take NH22 to Dharampur and finally SH to Kasauli. In case you are coming from Shimla, take NH22 to Dharampur and from there, SH to Kasauli. From these cities, regular buses are easily available for Kasauli. Buses in deluxe and non-deluxe class are available, by State transport department as well as private bus operators.
