Pandu Lena Caves NashikNashik city is counted amongst the major pilgrim destinations in the state of Maharashtra. Coin Museum
Coin Museum is one of the most popular tourist places in the Nashik city of Maharashtra. The museum was founded under the Indian Institute of Research in Numismatic Studies, in the year 1980. The fact that adds to its attraction is that it is the only one of its kind museum in the whole of Asia.

Kalaram Mandir
Kalaram Mandir, one of the major attractions of the Nashik, is situated in the Panchavati area of the city. It is the biggest as well as the simplest amongst all the temples situated here and dates back to the year 1790, when it was constructed by Sardar Odhekar of Peshwa.

Pandu Lena
Pandu Lena caves are situated near the Nashik city of India, at a distance of only 8 km towards its south. They are one amongst the numerous Buddhist Caves built in the country during the flourishing days of the religion and are twenty four in number.

Ramkund
Ramkund is a holy tank in Nasik, constructed by Chitrarao Khatarkar in the year 1696. The legend associated with the tank goes that when Lord Rama was sent to exile for fourteen, it was here only that he used to take bath. The tank is considered so sacred that many people immerse the ashes of their deceased relatives here only. Even the ashes of great personalities, like Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Y B Chavan, have been immersed here only.

Muktidham Temple
Muktidham Temple is situated only 7 km away from the heart of Nashik. Built entirely with shining white makrana marble, the temple is extremely famous for its magnificent and unique architecture. The white walls of the temple have been inscribed with the 18 chapters of the Gita. In the hindu religion, it is believed that visiting this temple holds as much significance as visiting the four dhams or holy centers.

Someshwar
Someshwar Village is situated in the outskirts of the Nashik city, on the banks of Godavari River. Surrounded by lush greenery, the picturesque village boasts of temples dedicated to Lord Shiva and Lord Hanuman. Navasha Ganapati Temple situated here is also quite popular. The weather of Someshwar is also quite pleasant and the village is also a popular place for swimming as well as boating. It has also been used as a shooting location in a number of movies.

Deolali Camp
Deolali Camp is one of the oldest military centers in India and dates back to the year 1861. The main aim behind its establishment was to provide a place where mentally strained and worn out soldiers could take rest and rejuvenate themselves. One of its major attractions is Khandobachi Tekadi Temple, visited by devotees in large numbers.

Artillery Centre
Artillery Center of Nashik, situated behind the Pandav Caves, is regarded as the biggest Artillery Center in Asia. Earlier, it was situated in Pakistan, but after the partition in 1947, it was shifted to the city. At this center, training is provided to officers and soldiers of the Indian Army.
