Day 1: Arrive in Delhi
Upon your arrival at the airport, meet our representative awaiting just outside the arrival hall, past the customs area & currency shops. Later at the hotel our representative will brief you about tour starting day after.  Delhi, the national capital of India is an historic city and commercial centre of Northern India. Numerous dynasties ruled and flourished each bequeathing the city with different colours, shades and folds of civilisation as heritage.  With a multi-ethnic society, Delhi welcomes all to witness a miniature of the vast Indian subcontinent.
 
Day 2: Delhi- Jaipur
(Driving time: 5hrs)
This morning depart from Delhi by private car for Jaipur-the pink city. In the afternoon, tour the old walled city of Jaipur. Visit the unique Jantar Mantar Observatory- an assortment of architectural astronomical instruments. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh II it consists of fourteen major geometric devices for measuring time and predicting eclipses etc. Stunning City Palace will be the next destination on this city tour.  City Palace is a complex of various palaces in Jaipur which is an erstwhile seat of Maharaja of the region. Also, explore the stunning Hawa Mahal- a palace with hundreds of ornamental windows, built for royal ladies to be able to watch the daily processions of city.
 
Day 3: Jaipur
Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel and leave for a half-day sightseeing tour to the hilltop fortress of Amber. A small trek up the hill will be covered while riding an elephant in the royal manner.  The fort was built in 1592 under the reign of Raja Man Singh and was later modified by successive rulers for next 150 years.  Today the structure stands with its beautifully carved ceilings, intricate patterns, stunning designing overlooking the city of Jaipur. The intricate mosaic and minute mirror work is simply brilliant and the walls of the interiors are covered with exquisite murals, frescoes and paintings depicting daily life at royal courts.
Later visit the City palace on your city tour to view a series of impressive structures done in affluent fashion. The palace showcases typical features of Mughal and Rajputana architecture and thus is laced with marble chhatris, sloping cornices, ornamental gardens and sprawling lobbies. Explore Jaipur for an exclusive rendezvous with royalty. Evening at Jaipur will be free for shopping around the bazaars where one can choose from precious gems to variety of handicrafts.
 
Day 4: Jaipur-Ranthambore
(Driving time: 3 hrs)
Morning drive to Ranthambore. The Ranthambore Tiger Sanctuary boasts some of the best wildlife sightings Asia has to offer. You will be accompanied by a naturalist into the Park for an evening safari on an exclusive Jeep.
 
Day 5: Ranthambore
You will be accompanied by a naturalist into the park for evening safari on an exclusive jeep.  Situated in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan the park was declared a sanctuary in 1955 and became a national park in 1980.  Ranthambore Wildlife Sanctuary is renowned for high density of tiger populations and is surely one of the best places to spot the majestic predators in action.  Other wild creatures that have made the park their home include leopards, nilgai, wild boar, sambar, sloth bear, hyena and chital and varied species of birds and reptiles.  Follow the trails of wilds for exciting game viewing and wait for the call of the wilds to track their location under the guidance of experts.
 
Day 6: Ranthambore -Bharatpur
(Driving time:  3.5 hrs)
Drive early morning to reach Bharatpur.  Bharatpur is known for its World Heritage bird sanctuary, the Keoladeo Ghana National Park, a haven and home to over 400 kinds of birds and many other migratory species. Famous for avifauna and highly endangered species of birds such as Siberian Crane the park is a paradise for ornithologists. The style of wildlife viewing here is a highlight in itself, as you travel by bicycle or a cycle-rickshaw with a local guide who is an expert on the flora and fauna of the park.
 
Day 7: Bharatpur - Agra
(Driving time: 1 hr)
Driving from Bharatpur to Agra you break the journey at Fatehpur Sikri an amazing ghost town that was once the capital of the Mughal Empire.  The monuments and edifices of Fatehpur Sikri are applauded by UNESCO for they showcase a beauteous synthesis of various regional schools of architecture and influences of Hindu, Jain and Islamic architectural styles can be seen here. Explore the beautiful edifices inside which includes Jama Masjid, the Buland Darwaza, palace of Queen Jodha Bai, Birbal's Palace, tomb of Saint Salim Chisti inside. You will then continue the drive to Agra where you will stay for the night.
 
Day 8: Agra
This day will bring best of the Mughal art and architecture and various UNESCO World Heritage Sites to your tour. In afternoon, visit the ultimate emblem of love and an edifice that has most rightly been called a World Wonder- Taj Mahal.  Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, Taj Mahal is a UNESCO acclaimed site and is called “the jewel of Muslim art in India” for its beauteous design and configuration.  Later, visit the imposing structure of Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of public and private audience. Also visit, the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah a replica of Taj Mahal often regarded as a draft of the famous mausoleum was built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father.
 
Day 9: Agra - Jhansi - Khajuraho
(Train journey: 2 ½ hours, driving time: 3 hours)
Transfer to Jhansi by train and then to Khajuraho by surface. Khajuraho was the cultural and political capital of the Chandela Rajputs dynasty, which flourished between the 9th and the 13th centuries. The erotic sculptures of the Khajuraho temples are famous in the world. Embracing couples, dancers, musicians and provocative maidens adorn these temples, which have been masterpieces of Indian Art.
 
Day 10: Khajuraho- Bandhavgarh
(Driving time:  6 hrs)
Enjoy the early morning sightseeing tour of the Khajuraho city by visiting the city temples built in between 950 and 1050 AD. The temples of Khajuraho mainly known for their erotic sculptures are grouped into three geographical categories: western, eastern and southern groups of temples.  These temples are also praiseworthy for their unique architecture which didn’t use mortar and the stones were put together with mortise and tenon joints and such formation is a subject of study even today. The erotic art is only carved on the exteriors of these temples in union with scenes of mundane life.  
Later drive to Bandhavgarh National Park and stay there in a forest lodge closest to the enthralling jungle panorama.
 
Day 11: Bandhavgarh
Have a full day of jungle activities and enter the woods for an exciting jungle safari.  Accompanied by expert naturalists you will advance deep inside the jungle in a jeep.  Situated at the foothills of the Vindhya ranges, Bandhavgarh National Park is the habitat of tiger, spotted deer, barking deer, sambar, chausingha, nilgai, guar, chinkara, wild boar, sloth bear, jackal, leopard, and a wide variety of bird life. Wildlife enthusiasts will surely have the time of their life here for the park constitutes of highest population of tigers in India.  If you are granted permission by the Rewa's royal family, you can visit the fort. The wonderful carvings in the fort and the fabulous view from the top cannot be described only experienced.
 
Day 12: Bandhavgarh - Kanha
(Driving Time:  6 hrs)
After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, drive to Kanha National Park. Located in the central state of Madhya Pradesh, the park covers an area of 940 sq. km. Of particular interest during your stay will be sightings of the superb gaur, the remarkably elegant blackbuck, the hard ground barasingha and the ever-present langur. About 22 species of large mammals can be spotted within the park and the bird life is equally extraordinary. O/N stay at the lodge.
 
Day 13: Kanha
The day at Kanha will begin with an elephant safari inside Kanha National Park.  The park is a popular sanctuary known for housing a significant population of engendered species of Royal Bengal Tiger.  The lush sal and bamboo forests of the park are further embellished with verdant grassy meadows and pristine ravines creating apt ambiance for the existence of sloth bear, Barasingha and Indian wild dog.  The park which inspired Rudyard Kipling to write his famous novel Jungle Book, Kanha National Park is a haven of a place.  600 species of flowering plants covers the lush meadows and are further complimented by dense forests housing large mammal and amphibian species. The elephant safari will add to the thrill to this fascinating jungle safari.
 
Day 14: Kanha-Nagpur- Mumbai
(Driving time: 5.5 hrs, flying time: 1.25 hrs)
Drive to Nagpur and where on arrival you will be transferred to Nagpur airport to connect evening flight for Mumbai. On arrival at Bombay airport you will meet our representative who will then drive you to the hotel booked previously for your overnight stay in Mumbai.
Beneath the chaos and the cacophonic sounds of the city lies an inebriating mix of culture, heritage, celebration and natural beauty.  Mumbai is a financial powerhouse, centre of fashion and film industry and the hub of neon-lit chambers of frolic.  The city allures with its wealth of Art Deco and magnificent colonial relics, grand temples, labyrinths of vibrant bazaars, horde of brand conscious malls and a pinch of soul stirring fun.
 
Day 15: Mumbai- Departure
Visit Gateway of India, a 26 meters high basalt arch, Gateway of India located on the seafront was built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary to the region in 1911.  It was here at Gateway that the last British troops passed through the Gateway in a ceremony on 28th February 1948 leaving India a free country.  You will set on a ferry boat ride from here to visit UNESCO World Heritage Site of Elephanta Caves in Mumbai Harbour.  The exquisite rock cut architecture of the caves date back to between 5th and 8th century.  Out of these the three-faceted sculpture of Lord Shiva is the most striking one.

Later visit the renowned Prince of Wales Museum.  The museum is built in the Indo-Saracenic style of architecture along with elements of Mughal, Maratha and Jain architecture.  The museum is known primarily for housing 50,000 exhibits of ancient Indian and foreign art, archaeological and natural history.  The museum houses artefacts such as miniatures, paintings, Mughal jades, silver, gold and artistic metal ware and more.  The day concludes back at the hotel in Mumbai.

In time departure to the international airport for onward flight.
